Krámpack is a Catalan film director Cesc Gay.  His script is based on the free play of the same name of the playwright and actor Catalan Jordi Sànchez. In fact, Kràmpack is also the name of the company of actors which includes Sànchez.

The title refers to a form of mutual masturbation that the two practice.

The film is set in a small seaside town near Barcelona.

The DVD also offers short features on the making of the film, theater trailer, interviews with the actors and director, and two music videos made from the film. The film is unrated.

Argument

Dani (Fernando Ramallo) is a teenager who spends the holidays with his friend Nico (Jordi Vilches) in the family house in the Catalan coast, while their parents are traveling, both young men raised as the main objective of the summer to lose virginity. Two premiums soon know his own age, Berta (Esther Nubiola) and Elena (Marieta Orozco), which begins a flirtation, especially by Nico

Gradually Dani is realizing that feels much more interest in being with his friend Nico who Berta. Meanwhile, Nico makes every effort to have sex with Helen, which causes jealousy Dani.

After a fight with Nico, in which he confesses his attraction to him, he goes home every night. Confused roams the streets of the village until it is in with Julian, a homosexual writer friend of his father, and just having dinner at home with him and some friends.

 
 

After spending the day with him, Dani decides to kiss him and offers to make love, but at the last moment changed his mind and returns to his home with Nico. The friends make peace, but the summer has ended and Nico left the town to go home. Is unclear what will be the future sexual orientation of Nico and Dani in the air.

Awards

The film won the Special Prize of Youth in the Festival Internacional de Cine de Cannes 2000.
Cesc Gay won her the Best Director Award at the III Festival de Cine Español de Málaga and the prize in the Sebastian International Film Festival San Sebastian 2000.
